Tinto Pesquera’s crowning jewel. One of the winery’s most special wines, only made using five vintages: 1996, 2002, 2004, 2008, and now 2009. An exclusive wine due to both its quality and its production process, as it is the only wine that the winery ages in French oak barrels. Using grapes from “Viña Alta”, the first vineyards planted by Familia Fernández Rivera in the early 1970s, it can only be made when the harvest brings in Tempranillo grapes of an excellent quality, which will give the wine unique nuances. Discover it!

TASTING NOTES

LOOK: Picota cherry red colour with an intense and shiny layer.

TASTE: A broad, full-bodied wine, which fills the palate with its range of flavours and aromas. It has a fine and elegant mouthfeel, is well structured and has tannins that will make this wine continue to develop in the bottle. With wonderful acidity and explosive in the mouth.

SERVING TEMPERATURE: From 12 ºC to 14 ºC.

CONSUMPTION: With good ageing potential, it can be enjoyed until approximately 2025. Due to its natural production process, which does not involve any manipulation or filtration, it is advisable to decant at least 45 minutes before serving.

PAIRINGS: Ideal for accompanying all kinds of meat such as red meat, white meat and roasts. The perfect accompaniment to game dishes, as well as soups and stews.
